Are you struggling in some facet of your life?

Is your relationship to your spouse or partner in conflict?

Is your career feeling like a challenge, rather than the path to success and fulfillment?

Has parenting your children become overwhelming?

Does your child struggle with self-esteem, school performance or learning differences?

Are you feeling anxious or depressed, and worried things can't change for the better?

Would you like to live more mindfully, and be present and connected to the positive aspects of your life?

Sequence LCC was founded in 2012 by our Director Kathleen Landers LCSW-C, who has been working in the human services field since 1987 and in private practice since 2002. Sequence Counseling and Consulting Services is the the direct service branch of the organization, and the Sequence Institute for Learning and Education serves as our training branch with programs for professionals and the general public alike.

If you've looked through our website you have seen we offer a wide range of services along the scope of life's many areas of tension or transition. These services are offered by our skilled and frankly really nice professional staff.

What holds this all together? You will find the secret in our name and logo, which reflects the FIBONACCI SEQUENCE. Graceful in its simplicity, this mathematical equation of perpetual and balanced growth can be demonstrated in the artistic golden spiral of our logo. Each of us has multiple facets of our lives, and healthy growth and change can occur throughout the 'sequence' of our life, while our essence remains constant.

" The Classroom I used at Sequence in Silver Spring was comfortable, accessible and super easy to navigate. They were so helpful getting us set up and we had great feedback from participants. If needed there was separate space for parents to take babies to nurse or just take a break. No complaints here and I wouldn't hesitate to hold a class here in the future!"
