Ms. Kathleen Landers offers individual, group and couples therapy in addition to career and organizational consulting. Kathleen founded SEQUENCE in 2012, following 10 years as sole proprietor of Landers Counseling and Consulting. She is a licensed clinical social worker with over 25 years of experience.
As a therapist her style is warm, kind and very direct, using a combination of psychodynamic and behavioral techniques based in current theories of attachment and neuroscience. Previous clients have shared the experience that she inspires hope and models happiness, while offering a reasonable perspective and supporting insight and effective daily coping skills. Kathleen has worked in supervisory and leadership roles throughout her career in positions including healthcare hospice management, educational system clinical director, and chairperson of Montgomery County committee allocating direct service funds for high risk/children in need.

Gabriel Chernoff, LCSW-C, is a licensed clinical social worker providing psychotherapy at SEQUENCE to young adults, adults, couples and groups.
As a therapist, Gabriel specializes in treating young adults struggling with the transition to adulthood, and the treatment of adults of all ages struggling with anxiety, depression, grief and other life transition issues.
In addition, Gabriel has a particular interest in couples seeking to improve their communication and emotional connection, and has extensive training in the Gottman Method Couples Therapy - a research-based approach to enhance relationships. For more information, go to www.gottman.com.
Gabriel uses a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy and psychodynamic techniques in his personally catered treatment approach for each individual client. Terra Bufkin works with older adolescents and young adults who have concerns ranging from symptoms of depression and anxiety, to ADHD, eating disorders, and a history of trauma. She helps young adults address relationship issues and interpersonal concerns, as well as help with the challenges of transitioning to adult independence in all areas of life.
Terra utilizes both cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic approaches. Exploring past experiences and the patterns learned from these is combined with specific methods to enact change and growth. She has additional training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for those individuals coping with a history of pain and loss from which they are ready to experience healing. In her work as a therapist, Terra’s goal is for clients to feel safe and comfortable enough to trust and share so that together experiences, thoughts, and emotions can be explored.
Terra earned her bachelors degree in social work from Frostburg State University and her Masters in Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. She has worked a number of organizations including regional county government services (Prince Georges County and Anne Arundel County Departments of Social Service) and most recently as a therapist for the University of Maryland Medical System Department of Psychiatry. She has previously worked in private practice in Columbia, Maryland.

Ms. Moghadam provides individual and group therapy, specializing in the areas of young adults addressing personal relationships and life transitions, and international clients who may be dealing with difficulties of adjusting culturally to living in the United Sates. As a therapist she uses a combination of insight oriented psychotherapy and cognitive therapy.
Her goal is to provide a warm, accepting and supportive environment to help her clients work through their feelings, to overcome unresolved issues from their past and to address the underlying causes of current problems in their lives. Laudan accomplishes this by bringing insight to her therapy work, teaching coping skills and helping improve the overall quality of life. She is an attentive listener, a compassionate and non-judgmental therapist who endeavors to build a trusting relationship with clients in order to collaboratively identify goals and work towards reaching them.
Laudan has a BA in Fine Arts from the University of Tehran, and a Master's degree in Social Work with specialization in Mental Health from the University of Maryland. Margie Underwood is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor providing individual, couples', and family counseling. Margie has extensive experience supporting individuals, couples, and families facing challenges such as depression and anxiety, major life transitions, relationship challenges, setting and achieving life goals, parenting, and more.
Margie supports her clients in gaining insight into the roots of their challenges, and then helps empower them to progress towards their goals. The belief that each of us is capable of finding solutions to our own problems influences her strengths based approach, so she sees her role as one of a guide or facilitator. Tailoring her approach to the unique needs and personalities of her clients, Margie utilizes components of cognitive behavioral therapy, existential therapy, and developmental theory. One of her passions when counseling is to create a safe space where her clients feel truly respected, understood, and never judged.

Dr. Stacy Woods is a board certified psychiatrist providing medication management to adults at SEQUENCE.
Dr. Woods specializes in the treatment of a spectrum of mental health disorders including depression, anxiety disorders, ADHD, substance abuse, eating disorders, mood disorders and gender identity disorders in a very diverse population.
As a very knowledgeable psychiatrist who incorporates current medical research and information into her treatment approach, Dr. Woods is warm, genuine and very respectful of the patients she treats. She is willing to discuss options, past medication success and concerns, as well as medication and health interactions. She is attuned and responsive to the interpersonal issues impacting her patients' lives which may interact with the efficacy of medications as a form of treatment. In addition, Dr. Woods is collaborative with other treating mental health professionals, and welcomes referrals from providers in the community.

Julie Neill is an award-winning career counselor with a diverse background including over 13 years of experience working in higher education, government and the nonprofit sector in the US and overseas. Diana Hodge brings to SEQUENCE her extensive business consulting expertise, communication and strategic planning skills to helping the small to mid sized business, including the self employed, brand and market their services. She is available for these services by phone or Skype, for either short or longer term consulting projects.
Ms. Hodge earned her undergraduate degree in business from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. She later earned her Masters in Business Administration with a focus on marketing from the University of Southern California. Over the span of her career she has worked as a marketing and communications expert in the private sector, working in large consumer goods organizatiosn (James Hardie, Electrolux) healthcare (Georgia Health Sciences Medical Center, Aetna) as well as mid-sized management and marketing companies.
Ms. Hodge will develop an individual plan for a start-finish marketing strategy, or work with sole-proprietors and organizations as company growth and change dictates the need for new approaches.

Claire Stuebe is a trained professional resume writer who provides career coaching and personalized resume writing services to the clients of SEQUENCE. She earned her bachelor’s degree in history from Duke University, and her master’s in counseling psychology from Adams State College in Colorado.
Ms. Stuebe has worked as a counselor in a college setting and in private practice, and as a career counselor at a college career center. Ms. Stuebe has also worked in a large behavioral healthcare organization as a care manager. She has worked as an evaluator for the University of Colorado and private industry positions such as Cabela’s and Sports Endeavors.
This variety and range of professional experiences over the course of her career provides Ms. Stuebe with a clear understanding of the demands and expectations of the workplace and the keys to a successful job search. Her attention to detail and ability to draw out the specifics of experience and success and incorporate those into a well crafted resume with a supporting cover letter is her standard service.
