Ms. Kathleen Landers offers individual, group and couples therapy in addition to career and organizational consulting. Kathleen founded SEQUENCE in 2012, following 10 years as sole proprietor of Landers Counseling and Consulting. She is a licensed clinical social worker with over 25 years of experience.
As a therapist her style is warm, kind and very direct, using a combination of psychodynamic and behavioral techniques based in current theories of attachment and neuroscience. Previous clients have shared the experience that she inspires hope and models happiness, while offering a reasonable perspective that includes daily coping skills. Her goal is to help clients solve problems, work through feelings, resolve relationship challenges, overcome traumatic experiences and improve long-term happiness.
Kathleen has worked in supervisory and leadership roles throughout her career in positions including healthcare hospice management, educational system clinical director, and chairperson of Montgomery County committee allocating direct service funds for high risk/children in need.

Gabriel Chernoff, LCSW-C, is a licensed clinical social worker providing psychotherapy at SEQUENCE to young adults, adults, couples and groups.
As a therapist, Gabriel specializes in treating young adults struggling with the transition to adulthood, and the treatment of adults of all ages struggling with anxiety, depression, grief and other life transition issues.
In addition, Gabriel has a particular interest in couples seeking to improve their communication and emotional connection, and has extensive training in the Gottman Method Couples Therapy - a research-based approach to enhance relationships. For more information, go to www.gottman.com.
Gabriel uses a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy and psychodynamic techniques in his personally catered treatment approach for each individual client. Lara Gregorio works with individual adults and adolescents, as well as providing consultation and support to families and parents. She uses warmth, compassion, and humor, creating a safe and supportive space for growth and change. She has practiced in college counseling centers, inpatient and outpatient clinics, and has worked with individuals struggling with life transitions, parenting concerns, interpersonal and relationship problems, as well as individuals suffering from psychosis. Her specific areas of expertise include Eating Disorders, Substance Abuse, Parenting, Depression/Anxiety, Self-esteem, and Post-partum concerns.
She worked for 5 years for the National Eating Disorders Association, where she helped to develop standards of care based on evidence based practices for eating disorder treatment, and provided training and consultation to community groups, families, educators, and government officials. She currently serves as Chair of the Washington Society for the Study of Eating Disorders and works part-time with the research team at the Eating Disorder Research and Treatment Program at UCSD, one of the premier eating disorder research facilities in the world.
Lara additionally provides unique and flexible services to new moms, with an understanding that seeking outside support can be challenging with little ones at home. Helping women adjust to the transitions to motherhood is a key service to the health of growing families. Lara provides video and/or phone services for this population.
Lara’s professional education includes an undergraduate degree in social psychology from Emory University and a masters degree in social work from Smith College School for Social Work in 2005. Daryl Ellen Gincherman has training and clinical experience working with individuals, families and groups on a wide range of challenges. She has particular interest in working with teens and adults who struggle with anxiety, depression and/or other mood disorders. Daryl Ellen enjoys working with individuals and groups on self-empowerment, self-esteem building and assertiveness training, as well as those who have experienced trauma, and she has received additional training in these areas.

Ms. Laudan Moghadam provides both individual and group counseling and therapy. She specializes in the treatment of young adults dealing with personal relationships and life transitions as well as the treatment of international clients dealing with the cultural difficulties of living in the United States. As a therapist, she uses a combination of insight oriented psychotherapy and cognitive therapy.
Her warm, accepting and supportive environment helps her clients work through their feelings, overcome unresolved issues from their past and address the underlying causes of current problems in their lives. She is an attentive listener and a compassionate and non-judgmental therapist who endeavors to build a trusting relationship with clients to collaboratively help them identify and achieve their desired goals.
Laudan has a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from the University of Tehran, and a Master of Social Work (MSW) with specialization in Mental Health from the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland. She has worked for Child and Family Services (CFSA) in Washington, DC with child victims of abuse and neglect, and for Adventist Behavioral Health.
For the past two years, Laudan has been working for the Behavioral Health Unit at Washington Adventist Hospital, and she continues this work providing care to individuals, groups and families dealing with a range of diverse emotional issues.

Janet Connors offers integrative psychotherapy services at SEQUENCE, and works with individuals, couples and groups to promote healing and well-being. As an integrative psychotherapist, she incorporates evidence-based mind-body relaxation therapies into her psychotherapy techniques to offer stress reduction and promote physical and emotional healing.
With more than 20 years of experience in the field, she has worked in a variety of settings including residential and foster care programs for children and adolescents, private practice settings, the George Washington University Medical Center and Columbia Dominion Hospital. In addition, Janet has extensive experience working with individuals coping with trauma and PTSD.
For the past 10 years, Janet provided counseling at the Suburban Hospital/Johns Hopkins Cancer Program to both patients and families who were facing the challenges of a cancer diagnosis. In this position, she was awarded the Pastoral Care Award for Compassionate Care, honoring the spiritual, emotional and cultural needs of patients, families and staff.
Janet is also an experienced group leader and has presented at events such as Sibley Hospital’s Breast Cancer Survivor Retreat and Sibley’s Cancer Survivor Day Event.

Ms. Hodge earned her undergraduate degree in business from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and her Masters in Business Administration from the University of Southern California, Los Angleles.
She is a seasoned director of business development strategies and an accomplished leader driving increased growth and profitability through high-profile product and service launches, programs and campaigns for healthcare business-to-business and business-to-consumer organizations such as Electrolux Health Care Division, Georgia Health Sciences Medical Center and Aetna.

Samantha Magoba has worked with Sequence since 2012, and her role encompasses that of digital records oversight, technical writing projects, and assisting in our Career Services division as our primary resume writing staff.
Samantha earned her bachelor’s degrees from St. John’s College in New York, and has since worked in customer service as a medical receptionist and as a help desk support working with database implementation for Medicare/ Medicaid. In her current full time position she works as an Investor Services Associate for ICMA-RC, working with consumers as they manage their public sector retirement plans. Samantha brings her customer service skills, her attention to detail and her excellent digital editing and writing skills to her position at Sequence.

Cindy brings to Sequence many years of administrative expertise in the business and non-profit community, and at Sequence works alongside the Director to manage daily operations of the practice. Cindy is primarily responsible for oversight of all internal and external commuincations, outreach and marketing of the practice.
